On April 7-8, 2023, at the initiative of the Department of Scientific Research and Development, the SSU team (Lia Akhaladze, Tamar Shinjiashvili, Nino Tsulaia, Levan Kvaratskhelia) of the EU Erasmus+ project DITECH (Technology-Enhanced Teaching and Learning in Georgian Universities) held another training session for the academic staff of Sukhumi State University on the topic: The Use of Educational Technologies and Platforms in the Teaching and Learning Process: Diagrams.net, Mentimeter, Padlet, Lingt, Genially.

A large part of the academic staff participating in the trainings was also involved in the trainings held on December 27-28, 2022, and the knowledge and experience of working on new platforms was added to the previous experience. The trainers discussed the possibilities of using the presented platforms in the educational process in various fields. The involvement of representatives of all five faculties of Sukhumi State University increased the range of dissemination of information on the mentioned platforms and the desire to use them; the platforms that are available to both academic staff and students arose special interest. The DITECH SSU team will continue to spread knowledge about the effective use of digital platforms in the teaching and learning process for academic staff, as well as Ph.D. students, one-year teacher training program students, and school teachers.
